If you send a message to someone as BCC, that info is not replicated to each
recipient, even if you have 200 addresses in the BCC: line. Exchange sends
out one message per recipient and (as far as I know) there is no way to
change that.

Subject: BCC woes

One of our executives asked me this question, and had an example of all his
bcc recipient email addresses being exposed, when someone either did a reply
or a forward - he couldn't remember which, or if it was a /all or not.

"Why when you BCC all recipients and someone replies or
forwards the email do all the original recipients show up as
shown below? My hope and/or thought was that each recipient
would only ever see there own email address and no one
else's. Am I doing something wrong or missing something?"

I tested, and couldn't reproduce the problem, but I know that he and others
have seen this happen. Can someone enlighten me regarding the scenarios in
which bcc recipients get exposed and copied when somebody replies to the
original message?
