I've been working on this problem since Yesterday. I double-checked that
Routing is enabled for clients in the 10.0.0.0/255.0.0.0 range. For the past
month or so, a machine that sends out automated emails has been unable to
send external emails through one of our two Exchange servers. After fiddling
with the server yesterday, I somehow made things worse. I tried changing
everything back to the way it had been, but they still can't connect. I've
enabled logging of the SMTP connections, etc and nothing is showing up that
they are even trying to connect.

Frankly, I'm baffled about why they can't even connect... any ideas? As I
stated above, I went into the routing and made sure that they should be able
to connect. They are using a 10.20.x.x IP and the routing rule states
10.x.x.x should be able to route through. Previously, they could connect and
send email internally, but now can't even do that... HELP!
        Thanks
        John
