I see one of the symptoms you mention (clicking "send" does nothing)
almost every time I use explorer's "send to mail recipient". AFAIK, it's
just a long-standing bug in Outlook.

BTW, Doing a Control-Enter does send the mail.

Subject: **send to** mail recipient

I have encountered this issue many times although I have never been able
to figure out why.

When you right click on a file and select send to "mail recipient", the
file is supposed to be "injected" into a new blank email.

This often produces strange results. I have seen the email open with no
attachment in it. I have seen only an error message appear, I have seen
an email open with the attachment in it but you are unable to send it
(clicking on send does nothing.)

To correct this problem, what I have done is tell users to open a new
email, and insert the file from the insert menu. This always works.

Question is, why does not "right clicking" on the file and selecting
"send to mail recipient" work every time?

I have seen this on many machines, variety of os's and different users,
big files and small files.
