Orin, Don't start this - There are a lot of widely experienced people on this list, however the focus is Exchange. If you wish to post OT, then as a courtesy it would be best (perhaps even correct ettiquete) to list in the subject that the post is OT.
At least Ed is one of the most widely experienced people on this list, and his response is a very gentle tongue-in-cheek one... For now... I've learnt heaps from here, and will continue to. As a friendly suggestion, don't be too quick to attack those that may be poking fun, particularly when your original post is WAY OT for this list.
