Thanks Ed. I don't have a problem seeing OAB Version 2 and OAB Version 3a
(or in the future OAB Version 4). That's not my question.

I am having a problem seeing TWO copies of OAB Version 2 and TWO copies of
OAB Version 3a.

OAB Version 2 contains the ANSI offline address list used by Outlook 97
through 2002. The folder OAB Version 3a was added for Exchange 2003 to
support the Unicode format address book used by Outlook 2003.

Subject: duplicate OAB Version 2 and OAB Verion 3a

Hi all.

We have a mixed Exchange 5.5/Exchange 2003 environment.

The migration is going pretty well, but there is a nagging issue with the
Offline Address Book. Some people report not being able to download it.

When we go look at System Folders, under the OFFLINE ADDRESS
BOOK//o=Citco/cn=addrlists/cn=oabs/cn=Default Offline Address List we see
two copies of OAB Version 2 and OAB Version 3a.

What could cause this duplication?

Also when we right-click on these folders and go to properties, we get a
pop-up error message saying that the mail-proxy for this folder could not be
found and mail enabled pages could not be displayed. These folders are not
represented by the placeholders in Microsoft Exchange System Objects
container.

We tried to mail-enable them and they stayed mail-enabled for about 1 hour
and then lost their mail enabled properties again.

Does anyone have a hint of what could be going on here?

Thanks in advance!!!
