Colleagues,
I'm having trouble moving mailbox data from an Exchange 5.5 server to an
Exchange 2003 server in a different forest. I have no problem getting
the data from the Exchange 5.5 server into a .pst file, even logged into
the new forest where the 2003 server is, since I've added that logon to
the Exchange 5.5 server with Service Account privs. But when I try to
import the data into the Exchange 2003 server, I get these errors:

[10:19:36] Error opening message store (MSEMS). Verify that the
Microsoft Exchange Information Store service is running and that you
have the correct permissions to log on. (0x8004011d)

[10:19:36] Errors encountered. Copy process aborted for mailbox 'Larry
R. Test' ('LARRY.TEST').
I have Domain Admin & Enterprise Admin in the forest, and Exchange Full
Administrator privs on the Exchange 2003 organization, and I've
unchecked the explicit deny for Receive As and Send As, so I can add any
mailbox to my folder list. I just can't seem to get the data imported!
I am running ExMerge from the Exchange 2003 server into which the data
is being imported, since nobody's actually using it yet.
