I have all of my domain names, plus most of my clients with 123-reg.co.uk - part of Pipex. They haven't let down either.
http://www.123-reg.co.uk/affiliate.cgi?id=AF4286 I use them for domain name registration only - hosting and connectivity is elsewhere. We're after full authoritative external primary DNS for around 25 domains, some are pretty much vanity domains, some get a bit of use. I use easyDNS for our important domains and they've never let me down (not that I know of) but they aren't the cheapest when it's not what I'd call a mission-critical domain name. I'm trying to find the best compromise between where I'm not "cheaping out" but not paying more than the domain registration fees just for the DNS :-) Nettica looks like an option, just emailed them to ask why reverse hosting is so pricey though. As Martin said, I'll also try our ISP, but I don't believe it'll be FOC as we literally use them for connectivity. cheers, Paul -- Paul Hutchings Network Administrator, MIRA Ltd.
