I believe this is the fifth time you've asked this question. All have made
it to the list subscribers and nobody has responded. I think you can safely
assume that nobody has any opinions about this.

I have no experience with or knowledge of the product you mentioned. My
answer to you would be to give these people two mailboxes and have them use
Outlook to open one and another client like Outlook Express or OWA to open
the other and leave it up to them to remember the difference. Or they can
use IMAP and SMTP for both mailboxes and they can send from whatever reply
address they want.

Subject: one exchange server two domains

Hi Listees, I was wondering if anyone could offer some pointers on
configuring two domains on one exchange server (2K3 SP2 Std). The goal is
to minimize mistakes the end users could make by sending a message from the
domain they don't intend to use at a given time.

domainA.com domainB.com -- A Client needs the ability to choose from which
address and when replying have Outlook automatically determine proper return
domain depending on which domain it was received under.
Should work in OWA.

So it appears my option is to use an ivasoft.biz product:

replying to messages--'SmartReply' takes care of automatically appending
correct address when replying to messages.

composing new messages--'ChooseFrom' ?presents a box? which allows user to
toggle between two addresses. I am not clear on how this works, the demo for
this product seems very poor. I'm not sure how this will look to the end
user, could anyone enlighten me on how this looks/works to the end user?
Ideally the user has to select before a message goes out so they don't make
a mistake and send a message from the incorrect domain.

composing new message in OWA--'ChooseFromOWA' allows user to select which
domain the message is leaving from.

replying to a message in OWA--Need to reply to message addressed to
recipient from the correct domain, does a product exist to do this?

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I must also implement something for
the Blackberries, not really sure how I am going to tackle that one, they
are using desktop redirectors, would a BES possibly help in sending
from/replying from the two domains on their BB's?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Julian
