Is your mail server named sv18pub.virizon.net? If not, I wouldn't appear that your server is blocking the mail. Perhaps someone else is running a rouge server and has aped Verizon's Mx records since their support denies culpability. I'd start here I guess: http://www2.verizon.net/micro/whitelist/
