Hello, Exch 5.5 SP4 problem.
After a tape drive failure forced us to bring down the server, we brought down the server one night and replaced the drive. since the priv IS was already close to 20GB's which was the full size of a tape, i decided to defrag the drive so that the IS would fit compactly onto one tape. unfortunately near the very end of the defrag, while eseutil was checking for consistency, a chassis fan died and the compaq agent decided to shutdown the server to prevent overheating. the server came up and the IS mounted, but searching for e.mails no longer works. this weekend, i attempted to run: isinteg -pri -fix -verbose -test alltests but was met w/ this error message after just a few seconds: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Microsoft Exchange Information Store Integrity Checker v5.5.2653.22 Copyright (c) 1986-1997 Microsoft Corp.
