hey .... excuse me if this email doesn't make sense ... since this DST thing has started I feel like I am in "Back to the Future" (oops .. telling my age ..)
anyway .. I have updated all my servers (front end, back end, 2000, 2003 all exchange 2003/sp2) and clients with the DST tools... then I logged into one of my test mail accounts to try and set up the tool for Exchange (msextmz) ... one of it's pre-requisites is to first install the Outlook Tool (tzmove) ... so, I thought, lets run this Outlook tool first and see what it does ... (punished for thinking ... again) so I made some appointments in the "gray zone" (March 12-15, and Oct 28 - Nov4) for one of my test users ... some recurring appointments and some single appointments then I ran tzmove against this test users mailbox ... it didn't do anything to the recurring appointments and moved the single appointments one hour ahead (from 9 to 8) !!!!!!!! why did it move it one hour ahead? any ideas? links? some more confusing MS KB articles that lead me to more confusing articles would of course be well appreciated ....
