Since you didn't provide the exact text you entered using telnet nobody can
tell you what is wrong. In your message body did you specify a To: header?

Subject: Ex2007 inbound missing text and recipient

Has anyone seen a brand new Ex2007 display messages as not having a
recipient, and not having any text?

Environment: two Exchange boxes running 32bit eval. First is ex1, holding
HT, CA, and Mailbox roles. Second is ex2, holding edge transport role.

If I telnet into the Edge box and send a message with just a simple one line
body, the recipient receives it, but the TO line is blank, and so is the
body. If I telnet and enter a blank line in the body first, then type my
message, recipient gets the message, with the body text, but still no
recipient in the TO box. Headers look like this:

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Received: from ex2.domain.local (10.0.0.12) by ex1.domain.com

If I grant anonymous inbound access to the HT box, and telnet directly into
it, I get the same results.

In either case, outbound seems to be fine (in fact, this message is going
out from that box).

No AV running.

Ideas?
