Without the benefit of researching those events, I'm getting a whiff of Word-as-Mail-Editor smell. How do you plead?

Subject: What the heck happened?

Our scenario has changed a little since yesterday. We are putting the
FE on the existing web server.

Scenario:
 o 1 Front-end
 o 1 SMTP Bridgehead server
 o 1 Mailbox server
o 3 Storage Groups, each has 4 mailbox stores.
o 1st Storage Group contains the default PF Store

Environment:
 o Exchange 2003 Enterprise, SP2 (native) on Windows 2003
Enterprise, SP1 in a Windows 2003 Native AD
 o Outlook 2003, SP2 on client end
o SMTP Bridgehead server is running Symantec Mail Security for
Microsoft Exchange, version 5.0.4.363. It also runs the AV console
for administering the AV on the mailbox server. It will be handling
the encryption services in the near future.

Problem:
I was attempting to create a group mailbox, for use by several people.
So, I followed these steps:
1. Created the AD account in a new OU called Group Mailboxes.
2. Created the mailbox right after it and put it in its own mail store.
3. Logged into the mailbox via the OWA as the mailbox owner...no problem.
4. Gave myself full user permissions on the mailbox.
5. Logged into the mailbox via the OWA as myself...no problem.
6. Went to the Security tab of the AD account and gave myself Send As
permission to the mailbox.
7. Added the mailbox to my Outlook profile, closed Outlook, then
logged off and back on the workstation.
8. Opened Outlook, expanded the mailbox...got in, no problem.
9. Started a new message and sent the message from the ...got an
error saying I didn't have permission to send on behalf of this user.
Figured the Send As permissions hadn't replicated yet, so I went and
ate lunch and came back.
10. Tried it to send as the other account again...this time it went.

Viola! Success! Not.

Now, as soon as I click on any folder in my personal mailbox other
than the Inbox, Outlook blows up and sends an error report to MS. It
does that every time. It does it from multiple workstations. But I
can still access all the folders in the other mailbox I was sending
as. I can also get to every folder in both mailboxes, via the OWA. I
found the test messages and they looked fine.

Since they are both new mailboxes, I deleted everything in every
folder and closed the OWA and restarted Outlook...same thing.

Errors I get in my local Application event log are:

Any ideas?

Thanks,
