If you force the machine to trust the cert does the prompt go away? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Richard, Pat Posted At: Wednesday, April 11, 2007 12:42 PM Posted To: swynk Conversation: Exchange 2007 - SSL & meeting requests Subject: Exchange 2007 - SSL & meeting requests
Greets - New 2007 server added into an existing 2000 Org. So far, everything is pretty much working fine, with one exception. When an internal user, running Outlook 2007, using an Exchange 2007 mailbox, creates a new Meeting Request and clicks on the Scheduling Advice button, they get an SSL popup saying the cert wasn't created from a trusted source..... Cert is the internal cert created when Exchange is installed. In this case, it's internal.domain.com. Most of the roles on the server (MB,CAS,HT) are set with the default settings. Client is non-profit, and isn't concerned about OWA users getting a prompt (and thus, can't really pony up for a wildcard cert). What can I do to fix the Meeting Request prompt? ________________________________ Pat Richard, MCSE Senior Network Engineer Microsoft Exchange MVP ANALYSTS INTERNATIONAL <https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/profile=396B594E-87FF-44 F1-B482-BC96227C426B> _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
