All, MS SQL 8.00.760, Exchange 2003 SP2, Windows 2000 server SP4 - Windows 2000 Pro/Windows XP, Outlook XP/2003.
I am currently looking at making available contacts from our MS SQL database in Outlook. I have come across Genius Connect and this seems to go some way towards a desired solution. http://www.geniusconnect.com/ Unfortunately we need to be able to pull distribution lists from the database and filter the view by department. I was also hoping for the updating to be a little more dynamic and be able to pull information from multiple DB tables to populate the address books. I am happy to use a public folder contacts container(s) and update these as part of the solution. I would be grateful for any input regarding Genius Connect, any third party solutions that will fulfil my requirements, suggestions on how it could be programmatically achieved.
