A lot more detail is needed. Like, type of client, type and health of
server, location of troubled users in the topology, firewalls?, error
messages or slow connection popup?
Are these users on cache mode? How is DNS resolution? What Global Catalogs
are these users using, and what is the status of the GCs?

Subject: OT: Outlook/SMTP mail stuck in Outbox
I apologize for this off-topic post. I have several users who complain
that Outlook doesn't send messages even after clicking send/receive.
The most recent report I have is that messages are stuck in the outbox
and, if you exit Outlook and open it again, mail gets sent. They are
using Outlook 2003 with POP/SMTP. Has anyone run into this problem and
found a solution to it?
