This is happening to my test network, just wondering if anyone has run into this problem, or knows where I should look.
I had to change the outside IP address to my test network running Exchange 07 over Server R2. I changed the DNS, I changed the NAT settings on the router. It shows up through outside DNS properly. It pings and all the workstations can see and retrieve files on the server. But I could not get mail to enter or leave an Outlook 07 client on VISTA on a Mac via Parallels. I tried it on a machine running Outlook 07 over VISTA straight on another workstation and no dice, both said they could not connect to the Exchange server. I re-booted the R2 server and both workstations. Still no dice. On the same network, I have an XP machine running Outlook 03. Same e-mail account works as it should straightaway, did not even need to be rebuilt. I tried re-building the account on the Outlook 07 machines: no joy. Anyone have any ideas about this? _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
