The best way to get that done is on the machine on which the OST lives and to let Outlook itself do it by starting in offline mode then copying the OST to a newly created PST(s)

It's not clear to me whether the OST in question is on the office machine or on the laptop. If it's with you, then it's a milk run if you can log in as her. If it's abroad, you should be able to guide her step-by-step.

Subject: ost to pst

Hi all,

We have an employee who is now working overseas, her office pc is still here
and im trying to find a message from 2005, she says she cannot find it on her
laptop , and I searched the store and came up empty. Here's the weird part
the store shows her box is 1 gig, yet the OST on her pc is 1.8 gigs,

So I want to convert the ost to a pst so I can open it on my pc

Can I just change the extension?
