Ah, no, when you set up two pop accounts, one becomes the default for
*sending*. When receiving the send/receive process checks each account
in turn.

When you have two accounts setup, and you compose an email you can
select which account you send it from. On the standard toolbar there is
an account button (right next to the send button)

This solves you problem, your wife just has to select which account to
use.

I have just done this on my work computer to prove it works.

Subject: RE: A interesting outlook question...

When you set up two pop accounts with smtp. One becomes default and all
mail goes to that address.

The domain for both accounts is the same so Just the user account
portion is
different. So the smtp server is the same for both.

I've just duplicated the same situation at home here using Road Runner.
It's easy to add another account as I have room for an additional
account.

If I have the first account as the default and mail comes in for the
second
account, I select it, hit reply, type something then send it, it goes
out
using the from for the first account. Outlook 2003, SP2 (11.8118.8132).
