Hi, Are there advantages/disadvantages in deploying dual-homed Exchange 2007 Edge server over single-homed Edge server? Do I need to configure any routing on a dual-homed Edge server?
I tested dual-homed Edge in the lab, one NIC faces Internet, the other is on internal network, and it seems to be working without any routing configured, however a colleague of mine tried the same scenario and found out that mail flow to/from the Internet was unstable until he added static route on the Edge box.
