Trend is great, cost can be an issue. We run Forefront on one of our production environments and it works, however it's not as mature of a product from what I can tell. I don't have a very detailed comparison matrix on hand, sorry. Another product is Symantec End-Point Protection. Its almost as good as Trend, and much less expensive. Also, for anti-spam, we always recommend using some type of external party to do the scanning on inbound/outbound mail (AppRiver, Message Labs, Frontbridge, etc.). The idea being it cuts down on the processing needs of your edge/inbound SMTP servers quite a bit since 70%-95% of the mail that hits your MX record is spam or virus.
