You first want to figure out why the clients can't use the public folders on the Exchange 2007 server. That's your problem and why you can't remove the replicas from the Exchange 2003 server. I can't tell you why you're having that problem, but that's where you're going to have to start.

Offline (but not uninstalled) Exchange 03 on Win Server 03. I've been running Local Continuous Replication on the mailbox databases for a while now, but when I try to LCR the Public Folder database, it fails saying that it can't do that while the folders are in replication mode. So I take off replication, but then the folders are no longer accessible from Outlook. The DB is still there, but invisible to Outlook. Then I have bring the old server back online and do replication with both servers. I'm caught in a vicious circle where I can't maximize the new server and I can't get rid of the old one. Did I make a mistake in not removing the old Exchange 03 as soon as the new one was up and running? And can anyone suggest a way out of this? _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
