Since our campus upgraded to Exchange 2007 and has begun our migration to Outlook 2007 we have increased the use of RPC over HTTPS in some circumstances and started implementing cached mode. I really miss the functionality of EXMON for Exchange 2003 clients that displayed which users were running cached mode. From what I've been able to google and experiment with, it seems as if the EXMON tool is supposed to be in the Exchange Performance Troubleshooter for Exchange 2007 - but that always fails when it gets to the EXMON part for me. I found this article, but it's still not entirely clear to me whether EXMON is supposed to work within the EPT, or if it's broken. http://www.slipstick.com/emo/2008/up080424.htm
I see that it's possible to call CSS and get the EXMON tool for Exchange 2007. Has anyone gotten EXMON to work on 2007 through EPT? Has anyone called CSS and received the new EXMON? Would the call be a chargeable call to CSS?
