So.... For various reasons I'm inclined to discount that particular error.

What does exrca.com say?

Subject: [Exchange] Outlook Anywhere issue

Trying to help someone with a 2003 to 2010 migration and have hit a roadblock
getting Outlook Anywhere to work.

If I run "Test-OutlookConnectivity -protocol tcp" everything looks good.
If I switch it to "-protocol http" I get a failure of RFRI::GetReferral.

If I run it verbose this interesting tidbit pops out:

VERBOSE: [01:01:40.122 GMT] Test-OutlookConnectivity : Using connection
parameters :
'example.domain.com\extest_65637213b71f4: Rfri/RPC-over-HTTP,
[webmail.example.com/Basic], [outlook.example.com/Negotiate]'
VERBOSE: [01:01:40.122 GMT] Test-OutlookConnectivity : Address Book Operation =

VERBOSE: [01:01:43.149 GMT] Test-OutlookConnectivity :
Microsoft.Exchange.Rpc.ServerUnavailableException: Error 0x6ba
(The RPC server is unavailable) from cli_RfrGetNewDSA

It's Exchange 2010 SP3 running on Windows Server 2008 R2. I've set the DNS
entries for webmail.example.com and outlook.example.com to my test CAS server
to take the load balancer out of the mix.

The CAS server is configured to use static ports for Address Book and MAPI.
I thought I'd ask for a new set of eyes as mine are crossing at the moment.
