Make sure that the user you are logging on as has "Log on locally" rights to
the machine running OWA. A little dangerous on a domain controller, if you
ask me, but it should make a difference.

Hi List after quite a some time.
I am having a CDO based web application. I wanted to deploy this
application for testing Purposes and encountered several errors. I am
getting same error in Outlook web access too. in all the situations.
These are the scenarios.
Our exchange server is on the PDC. and currently on The latest SP level.
Scenario 1:
Installed OWA in a NT4 server: OWA works fine.
Scenario 2:
Installed OWA on a w2k professional Machine (for testing) : Logged in using
domain Account.
When logged in to the Exchange server: same mailbox (my own) it works fine.
When Logged on from another computer using other users machine just after
requesting for userid and password, the page gives a web page with the text
"The parameter is incorrect." nothing else ins in the page
This is my workstation and It has Outlook 2000 installed.
Scenario 3:
Installed OWA to a NT4 BDC, which also being used as a development server,
there was outlook installation but now removed. When try to open the OWA
after the User ID and Password the same "parameter is incorrect." error is
given.
I searched the MSDN and found some Articles about clash of MS proxy 2.00
with Web Applications Witch returns this error. But that's almost all I
could find. and is not relevant to my case.
So how could I get rid of this parameter incorrect mess. Any help is greatly
appreciated
