When sending to your server I get a bounce message " Your mail system
could not find a way to successfully communicate with the destination
system. Please notify your administrator"
When I telnet to 198.207.239.16 via port 25, I get a "500 Invalid data
flow" then a "503 not accepting any command except quit", and there is
no notification of what kind of server you are running. When I go to
239.13 I get a Raptor firewall access denied message.
Is it possible that you have a gateway/firewall that is blocking SMTP
traffic for that IP address? Possibly a rule issue in your firewall?

The ip is 198.207.239.16....the 13 address is for our primary internet
gateway..but we use it as the backup IMC for the new exchange server.

What is the public IP address for the server? I see two MX records
from my site (198.207.239.16 and 192.207.239.13). Is it possible that
you have a forwarder that is configured incorrectly?

We have created a new domain and built dedicated Exchange server for it.
We
have the upstream dns entries made and also built the applicable records
in
our dns. nslookups seem to work fine but for whatever reason, we cannot
seem to get mail to recepients on this server. We have been patient
waiting
several days for the dns replication to spread.
here is my test account on this server:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
domain is obviously yao.doe.gov
Does anyone see where we went wrong?
