The easiest way to do this is to use ExMerge. Change the options and archive
the files and specify the extensions that you want to extract. This way you
can also open the PSTSs and provide the files to your users on an individual
basis if they need them. I think that the user interface is fairly
intuitive, and the DOC file included has a good section around pages 20-30
that includes step by step screen shots. Let me know if you need the latest
ExMerge.

Subject: Need tool to delete specific emails/attachments

Is there a tool that will allow me to delete specific emails/attachments
that are already stored in my users mailbox?

I have inherited a mail system & I would like the ability to delete
messages
that contain .vbs, mp3, .com or .exe's. My scanner doesn't allow them
in
(now) but it doesn't do anything for messages ALREADY in the store.

Environment: Exchange 5.5, SP4 on NT4, SP6a.
