Hi Leeann
We were using Goldmine as a contact manager for Exchange until quite
recently. We were also using it as a progress monitor for specific
contacts/jobs with our customers.(Workflow type thingy)
The decision was taken to cease using it as separate package and develop a
solution withing Exchange/Outlook mainly due to the severe challenges we
experienced with Goldmine. Whilst I would not go so far as to say it's a bad
product, it had certainly not been well implemented here, and our support
provider was next to useless in addressing the issues. As these things go,
had it been well planned prior to implementation, it probably would have
worked quite well but trying to sort out the retrospective mess was a
veritable nightmare.
Try it by all means, it may do what you want ....BUT... See it work in a
test environment which replicates yours before you part with any cash!
Good luck
Dominic.

Anyone used Goldmine against an Exchange Server? A group of mgrs here are
evaluating it and asked me to check the Exchange connectivity. Their
support site appears to be down at the moment and I can't find too much info
on it. I don't have a copy to install myself at this point until later in
the week as the CD is off-site.

any info would be appreciated.

Rgds,
Leeann
