I believe if you run Telnet <servername> 25, then log in with EHLO, you'll
get a list of commands that are supported.  If ETRN is in that list, then
it's supported.

How an I tell that my Exchange box supports ETRN commands?

I hae a CObalt-QUbe3 trying to send ETRN commands to the exchange and the
logfile say the exchange does not support ETRN.
