No, Geoff/Dale, the best solution is for management to notify their
employees as to correct policy and then manage them appropriately.

Tom: I like your answer the best. A pop-up window when they first logon
would be the best solution. I had forgot that you could do that. Thanks
for the input.

Geoff

You could also use a logon banner. machine\logon\logon_banner or some such
thing - I don't remember where it is in POLEDIT, but it's certainly there.
We used to pop up a "This is state property and we're watching you yadda
yadda, we'll prosecute you if you commit a crime" that they had to click
through, starting with Win95. If you're interested I'll go find one of our
old policies and tell you what those keys are. Not handy right now, though.
In a Win2k GPO it's at Computer Config - Windows Settings - Security
Settings - Local Policies - Security Options, then there are two pertinent
options to enable for this message: Message text for users attempting logon
Message title for users attempting logon

I think all of the above and below are silly. I think managers should
manage, and upper management should hold them responsible to do it.

And supplying a disclaimer going out to the Internet is different, like HOW?
Do you think every person would receive Internet mail from a company needs
to be reminded that what is written inside the email is not necessarily the
opinions of the Company? I never thought you were attacking me. However, it
is not my decision, as a Consultant for this company, to say no, but to
provide an answer to Management on whether or not it can be done, and is it
feasible. I have already told them it would create additional hardware
needs, due to the disclaimer being in EVERY email. They just asked what
would be the easiest way to implement it, if the need arose. My job as a
Consultant is to supply them with that information.
