I noticed that too. I also noticed it when we migrated from Office
Vision/PROFS to Exchange. I figured it was just a crappy e-mail client sort
of thing. Because both of them are.

Subject: Importing from Outlook Express

Has anyone else observed the following?

When importing messages from Outlook Express into Outlook, I noticed that
the server gave each message a timestamp of today instead of importing the
mail with the date on which it was recieved. I have checked, and Outlook
Express does support RFC822 which would be needed to make this work. Is
this by design, or have I just managed to miss something?

Thanks in advance,

Mark Chandler
