<unlurk> Teraterm has this functionality and is freeware.
However, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that the more elegant solution is to set up a cron job on the unix machine to carry out the commands at a specific time. It's more secure (never send a root password clear-text, which telnet does) and requires only one machine.
