OK, I need to remember to fully pose my entire questions and not rely on
assumptions.
 
I can turn of POP3 and IMAP. Great. Now, HOW do I turn these off?
 
My newbieness is shining through at the moment.

        Yes they can be turned off .... I suggest disabling the
