ha! tricked you into reading a non-answer. people who you are proud of "tricking" are unlikely to provide willing helpful information. like tripping someone and then asking for a dollar.

Could someone help me with the following problem? Ok can someone explain what I missed. I did a move mailbox upgrade to E2k. I had rights to send as this public folder email address and it carried over in the upgrade. Now I would like to assign someone else the rights to send as this public folder. By default the public folders are not 'mail enabled' yet they still have the previous assigned smtp address from Ex5.5. So when I mail enable them, It assigns a new smtp of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Also after mail enable it still does not show the original smtp address in Email Address tab in Active Directory Users & Computers. There has to be a way around deleting and remaking the folders? doesn't there? Any ideas or links to help info would be appreciated marty ----------------------------------------- Marty ----------------------------------------- Sure it's user-friendly...if you know what you're doing. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
