Michael, Thanks for the reply. This server wasn't build until after SP4 came out so that is the only service pack level that has been applied to it.
I believe that the problem does have to do with corrupt messages because I removed everything from the IMCdata in folder to another location and copied a few messages up at a time and they were delivered successfully. Also, are you sure this particular server is at SP4 as this behavious was a problem that wasn't fully fixed until SP2.
