Just solved a problem that I thought I would share with everyone (since most
of you are smarter than I am, most of you probably already know this). :o)

I'm using Exmerge, version 3.65.001. Upon trying to run ExMerge, in order
to extract a user's mailbox data to a .pst file, I got the following error:
"Error encountered reading list of recipients on server 'MyServer'.
Make sure you have Admin permissions on the
Private Information Store object. Please refer to the
'c:\exmerge.log' log file for more information."

Here is the contents of the exmerge.log file:
        ****************************************************************
Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Merge Program, v3.65.001
        Start Logging:January 03, 2002 11:19:39
        ****************************************************************
        [11:19:39] Logging Level: None
[11:19:54] Error getting ServerDN - Check current Windows NT account
(E_FAIL - Unknown Failure)      (CMapiSession::GetOrgSiteServerName)
[11:19:54] Error encountered reading list of recipients on server
'MyServer'. Make sure you have Admin permissions
on the Private Information Store object. Please refer to the
'C:\ExMerge.log' log file for more information.

I searched TechNet for "CMapiSession::GetOrgSiteServerName" and came up with
one "Q" article: XADM: "Unknown Failure" Error Message when You Run the
Exmerge Utility (Q262337) - Basically states that ExMerge thinks the drive
the Info Store is on is full. This wasn't the problem...the logical drive
that the Store is on, is a 59.8gb drive with 48.8gb free.

After searching for just "exmerge" in Technet, I got the followining "Q"
article: XADM: Error Message While Exmerge Is Reading Server Recipients
List (Q250576). Bingo! If you have this problem, follow directions in "Q"
article and it will work just fine.
