aggie: www.tamu.edu. Although other "Agricultural & Mechanical" universities use "aggie" as their trademark/nickname, it primarily refers to Texas A&M University students/faculty/staff/fans/alumni. One of Texas' proudest traditions is the "Aggie Joke" which is told everywhere except in College Station, where they reputedly don't get the jokes anyway. There, they tell Longhorn jokes. The rivalry is so fierce that scientists at A&M have developed a maroon carrot, since UTexas' color is burnt orange and no self-respecting aggie would defile his body with an orange food product. Besides Cheez-Whiz, of course.
