OK. If he aint too bright try this..it's quick and easy and I have used it to good effect. Messenger will be installed in the default location if he isn't bright enough to figure out what's going on. So a small batch file which deletes the .exe and then applies enough permissions to the directory in question will do the job. Then put an entry in the run location of the registry so it runs every time he logs on. This is fine until he figures out how to install it elsewhere. Mind you, if there is only one hard drive, simply restrict the permissions over everything except "My Documents". Dominic Olds
