If those permissions get whacked, rerunning domainprep can repair them.  

Heck, you can run it for fun.  In fact I'm running it right now!  You can
schedule it to run while away.  You can run it from the GUI.  You can run it
from the command line.

You can run it from your house.
You can run it with your mouse.
