I have a similar situation to this.

I need to move (migrate) users from a 5,5 server to a 2000 server.
It is a 24 hour operation though I can afford some downtime in email,
the 5.5 server is 1000Kms away on a wan, the new servers are installed
and awaiting users to be migrated.

What is the procedure for this?

Old Domain is a WinNT 4.0 domain with a PDC & a BDC, PDC is Mail & File
server, BDC is File server.
