1. Hardware setup (this includes RAID) 2. Install OS (in this case, let's assume Windows NT or Windows 2000 Server) 3. Install Application (in this case, let's assume Exchange 5.5)

How would you install either your OS or your Exchange Server software without having your target drives installed & set up? -----Original Message----- From: Patrick [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Posted At: Wednesday, April 17, 2002 4:49 PM Posted To: MSExchange Mailing List Conversation: RAID 5 setup Subject: RAID 5 setup Hey, I'm setting up RAID 5 on an upgraded Exchange 5.5 server, my question is this do I install Exchange before I setup RAID 5 or do I do it after the install, also I will be migrating data, do I need to do the migration before RAID 5 setup or after, may be a newbie question to some but I appreciate any advice anyone can give. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
