1.  Hardware setup (this includes RAID)
2.  Install OS  (in this case, let's assume Windows NT or Windows 2000
Server)
3.  Install Application (in this case, let's assume Exchange 5.5)

I think I'm not understanding your question.  How would you install
either your OS or your Exchange Server software without having your
target drives installed & set up?

Hey,

I'm setting up RAID 5 on an upgraded Exchange 5.5 server, my question is
this do I install Exchange before I setup RAID 5 or do I do it after the
install, also I will be migrating data, do I need to do the migration
before RAID 5 setup or after, may be a newbie question to some but I
appreciate any advice anyone can give.
