Microsoft Mail 3.2 is essentially a Windows-only (local and remote)
strategy. While there is support for other platforms, it's either very poor
or requires a second mail system (see 'integration' directly below). The DOS
LAN and remote clients for Microsoft Mail for PC Networks are essentially
the old Network Courier interface, and have not been updated since 1991. The
Macintosh client for Microsoft Mail for PC Networks is TTY-like, scrolling
text only, and looks much like the pre-3.x Windows clients.

o The integration between Microsoft Mail for PC Networks (originally Network
Courier software) and Microsoft Mail for AppleTalk Networks (originally the
'InBox' e-mail package) is poor. They are two separate mail systems, with
two separate message stores (Microsoft Mail for PC Networks uses a DOS-based
message store, Microsoft Mail for AppleTalk Networks uses a Mac-based
message store and 'talks' ONLY via AppleTalk), two separate administrative
tools and two separate user databases, connected with a gateway.
