Ya but granite canyon was one of the first free dns servers. Zoneedit is good too, but I tend to use independent people doing a good thing like granitecanyon.

That's all you need to do.create a zone for your domain name on granitecanyon and change the SOA for your zone at the place you bought your domain name from.
