  Along with what everyone else has said, check the Terms of Service of your
Internet feed.  Many ISPs forbid mass mailings of any kind, solicited or
otherwise, without making special arrangements.

  I would recommend looking into a third-party SMTP relay service, instead
of trying to send a bazillion emails through a 128 kilobit pipe.  Much
better to send one SMTP envelope with many recipients to a relay with a fat
pipe.
