I suggest you blow away the CR and recreate it and link it to the Delivery Options/Alternate Recipient. It's always worth a few minutes to create a new CR for forwarding and re-link it to the mailbox. Don't take for granted that just because it has been working in the past, that is means it will continue to work that way.

They should be delivered to both his mailbox AND another external smtp address. -----Original Message----- From: RBHATIA [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 21 August 2002 15:55 To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: Fowarding of email to external address Are the emails still sitting in his original mailbox or are they moving out of the mailbox but not being forwarded to where they are supposed to be forwarded ? -----Original Message----- From: Greg Heywood [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, August 21, 2002 9:42 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: Fowarding of email to external address Already done. I did all that already, and it was working for a while, then stopped. I have checked his mailbox(es), also checked the queues on the server, now wondering where else I can check to see if the message is getting fowarded, and if not, why. Bring up the Exchange Admin and go to the properties of the user's mailbox. Select the Delivery options tab (I think) and enter the custom-recip's address in the deliver all mail to... Field. -----Original Message----- From: Greg Heywood [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, August 21, 2002 7:13 AM To: Swynk ListServ Subject: Fowarding of email to external address Hello, We are running Exchange 5.5. One of our users is temporarily in another office (where they also have a mailbox), and the two sites are not joined. It was setup on the exchange server here, that a copy of all of his mail is to go to his other address (SMTP address added to the GAL). It was working for a while (week or so), but has since stopped. Any idea where I can look? He is not getting any kind of NDR or notification in his mailbox here, and I can email him directly to the remote SMTP address without any problems.
