We are investigating the use of the product below - have any of you guys used it? If so, any comments on its usage?
Thanks in advance, Miles <> Ok you guys have to check this out, it's called PowerControls, by Ontrack (the famous data recovery company). http://www.ontrack.com/powercontrols/ It will actually open an offline .edb database in its entirety and lets you recover data from it directly to a pst. Basically it renders brick level backups obsolete....but it can also search through the database as well. I tested it and it actually works. Single server pricing is $950, which isn't all that bad considering what it does.
