Subject: Admin.exe can no longer connect to Exch 5.5 after W2K patch

Hi there.

I applied the January Windows 2000 security rollup package to my laptop
(W2K SP2) after which I could no longer connect to the 5.5 SP4 Server
using the Admin app. I uninstalled the patch and Admin finds the server
again. This happened on a desktop I tried also. Obviously I want my
laptop secured. I'm presuming that W2K SP3 will produce the same results
what with it being a cumulative SP. The error is as follows:

Microsoft Exchange Directory
ID no: DS_E_COMMUNICATIONS_PROBLEM

I checked microsoft's site and found nothing. Any help would be much
appreciated.

Pete.
