My in-house Exchange Goddess says that she has not seen that problem on any of the thousands of mailboxes moved in her organization - neither on 5.5->E2K or E2K->E2K. She also is quite thankful that the problem wasn't evident in any of their moves as it might have precipitated a career change.

It is one of those "Special Undocumented Features" TM. When you move a mailbox to an E2K server, it resets all the permissions on the top level of the mailbox object to default == none, anonymous == none, and consequently, the delegate doesn't have rights to see that they have rights..
