The only limitation with this approach is if the mailbox associated with the SMTP address is hidden or deleted (tombstoned). In such cases the "Alt K" would not find a match. In this case an ldap query would be the better approach. A good utility to run ldap queries is LDP.EXE, a support tool that comes with Windows 2000 Server. It is necessary to bind in Admin mode when searching for hidden or deleted objects. The following article provides information on how to do this. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;Q196850& Tony -----Original Message----- From: McCready, Robert [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Dienstag, 17. Judi McLane -----Original Message----- From: McCready, Robert [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, September 17, 2002 8:31 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: Custom Recipient / Pagers We have 500 pagers setup as "custom recipients" on our Exchange 5.5 server. When trying to add a new custom recipient for a particular pager, I receive an error message that the address already exist. Is there any way to do a search on SMTP addresses, so I can find out who is using this address, or do I have to manually click on all 500 custom recipients until I find the correct one? Mercy, please say it isn't so. Thanks.
