If you have a PIX (Cisco) firewall this would be in the "Mail Conduit" make
sure they have it configured properly.

Check to make sure that somebody didn't reconfigure the firewall to block
port 25 inbound to your Exchange server. This would explain why it was
working one day and not the next without you making any changes.
